Pete is an experienced software developer and consultant with a proven track record of successful projects from full implementations to small workflows, with a specialisation in student systems and SITS. He has been providing SITS development and analysis to Higher Education Institutions since 2012, specialising in the SITS:Vision student records system.
During this time, he has undertaken a wide range of challenging projects, including lead developer and analyst for a full end-to-end SITS implementation project and has development experience in all key areas of the SITS system, from admissions all the way through to graduation.

Pete has focused on Finance and Integrations and is an expert in the SAM and StuTalk modules of the SITS system. He has a number of SAM implementations under his belt and experience of numerous Payment Service providers. Alongside this he has expertise in StuTalk interfaces, building integrations to bring data in and out of SITS through a host of methods, including REST API’s, StuTalk’s Publish and Subscribe and Stored procedures to name a few. Pete has proved he can make any two systems talk.

Pete’s key strengths are his ability to mix development expertise, combining strong SITS syntax, web languages and SQL to produce high quality products for end clients, coupled with strong analysis skills to understand the wider impact of these deliverables and ensure the optimal technical solution design.
